Warm greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior.
My name is Chrisnet Fertilus, Founder of Unity Christian Academy in northwest Haiti. Together with my wife, Louselie Pierre Fertilus, and our three children, I have dedicated my life to serving God through Christian education and community development. Unity Christian Academy was established to provide quality, structured, Christ-centered education to children who might otherwise have little access to academic opportunity. We believe education rooted in faith, discipline, and strong moral values transforms not only individual lives but entire communities.
The 2025–2026 academic year has been a season of growth and progress. We are currently serving 80 students with 9 teachers, 1 pedagogical director, 1 kindergarten assistant, and 2 cooks. Each staff member plays a vital role in shaping the daily lives of our students. From classroom instruction to preparing meals, our team serves with dedication and love.
Because of your generous support, we were able to purchase land, construct a new school building, build a kitchen, and install a pit latrine to improve sanitation. These are more than structures—they represent safety, dignity, and long-term stability for our children. Your investment has laid a strong foundation for future generations, and we are deeply grateful.
As we prepare for the 2026–2027 academic year, our goal is to increase enrollment from 80 to 120 students. This expansion will allow 40 additional children to receive structured, faith-based education. Many families in our region struggle to provide consistent schooling, and parents are asking us to accept more students. Unfortunately, limited funding prevents us from meeting this growing need.
We also plan to add a Discipline Coordinator to help maintain strong school-wide structure, support teachers in classroom management, and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment. As we grow, preserving quality and discipline remains essential to our mission.
We cannot accomplish this vision without your continued partnership. With your support, 120 children will receive education, spiritual guidance, and hope for a brighter future.
