September 2019 Update
It is beyond our vocabulary to express our gratitude for all the help we received from you! First of all, we felt your kind, loving, and caring hearts for children that need a good Christian school.
Unfortunately, Ukraine for over 70 years was living under communistic ideas and public government schools were used to brainwash heads of children to live without God and rely on the government in all spheres of their life. Ukraine became independent 28 years ago in 1991, and our country is going through many changes. So many things needed to be changed that we simply forgot about our children and schools that still shape characters of children in an old way as it was before.
In Ukraine, we have tremendous religious freedom. We can evangelize at any time and at any place and we don’t need any special permission. Many churches and missions are using this precious time. But what about children? For majority of believers’ families, church and home is the only place where children hear about God. During the week, they go to public government school where they are opened to this world that wants to plant so many bad things in their young heads.

Churches after a difficult past are trying to build and maintain church houses and different ministries to help many poor and needy people. That is good, but we have no right to lose time helping our children to get good Christian worldview that will affect all their life!
That is why several Christian families started a small private Christian school with the intention to serve our children. The first year, we had five children in a small basement of one of the families. Very soon, we saw other families who wanted to join with their children. So, the second year it was 12 children. On the third year, God blessed our school with more children who wanted to study in a totally different atmosphere and approach, so we grew up to 32 children. Many of those come from unbelievers’ families and are so opened to a good teaching style in our Christian school.
This is not us being so smart or thinking we know how to run a school. Not at all. But it is God who chose us. We do not know much, but we have big desire to serve children and He makes all these things possible.

The same day, we found that out God opened a possibility to purchase a wonderful house that would accommodate all our children. The price of it was half of the original price because owner suddenly needed money. So, the total price for the house became $40.000 USD. For city of Kyiv, it is very good deal. Of course, for our families, that is very high price to gather. So we prayed and God showed us it is His will for us to make the first step of faith and He will provide the rest.
That exactly what happened. Several families gave their savings, some money we had to borrow, and the rest God sent through good people like you who heard about the need and sent us $15.000 USD towards the school. Thank you for that and praise the Lord! Using your funds, we could buy our building for a school house and some of those funds went for adding more classes for more children already this year! God showed us to take more children in the first grade and now we have a total of 55 children. And we are adding a school house just beside our school building.3
