We as a church here in Recomachi have been involved in passing out MP3 players with the parts of the Bible that are translated, songs, sermons and believers testimonies into our native Tarahumara language.

We have been focusing on the remote areas where the gospel has not been heard yet. The Mexican government says there are around 90,000 Tarahumara. We dream of getting one MP3 player into every home. So far we haven’t gotten very far in achieving our goal, but we are working at it.

Deed and Truth Ministries provided us with ten new high quality backpacks. This has been a great blessing and very practical improvement for our team of seven to ten guys. We returned last week from a five day hike where we passed out around 3,000 MP3 players. The people dressed more modern, but their daily life and world view seemed to be extremely traditional.

Thank y’all for the support you have been providing to us over the years with the school, store, dog project, chicken project and other projects. Let’s continue to build Christ’s Kingdom together as the world’s kingdom continues to fall apart around us.
